Section 3.0: ISDN Configuration (7 points)

3.1. Basic ISDN (3 points)

  1. Configure ISDN on R1 and R2.

  2. Use network 81.18.1.24/30.

  3. Advertise ISDN network in EIGRP AS12 using strong authentication.

  4. Redistribute EIGRP-12 into OSPF on R2.

    ISDN information:

BRI number on R1 is 99047265

BRI number on R2 is 99047132

    Switch-type = basic-net3

3.2. Advanced ISDN (4 points)

  1. Configure R1 such that if the PIX outside interface goes down, R1 should route all traffic through ISDN via R2 and not PIX. In other words, if the PIX loses connectivity to the outside network, R1 should trigger ISDN as a redundant path.

  2. All routes on R1 should converge via EIGRP.

  3. Do not use dialer watch, HSRP, or any static routes to achieve this task.
