Section 1.0: Basic Configuration

1.1. IP Addressing

  1. Redraw a detailed topology with all necessary information to assist you throughout the lab.

  2. Configure IP addressing as shown in Figure 5-1. Do not change any subnet masks.

  3. Do not configure default gateway on any router except R1. R1 should learn the default route via PIX only. In the event ISDN comes up on R1 for Section 3.2, it should not learn any default route via ISDN. R1 should converge all individual network routes via ISDN. Do not advertise or originate default-gateway on any other router using any routing protocol. All other routers should have Gateway of last resort is not set in the routing table.

  4. Make sure you can ping all devices including AAA server.

  5. Configure loopback(s) as indicated ...
