4.1. Basic PIX Configuration (3 points)

  1. Configure host name PIX.

  2. Configure outside IP address 140.52.0.1/24.

  3. Configure inside IP address 172.16.1.2/24.

  4. Configure RIP on the outside interface as shown in Figure 4-3.

  5. Configure simple authentication for RIPv2.

  6. Configure the default route for the inside network to Switch1.

  7. Configure static NAT and ACL for CA server 172.16.3.254 to 140.52.0.254.

  8. Configure static NAT and ACL for Switch1 and Switch2 Management Interface 172.16.4.10 and 172.16.4.20, respectively.

  9. Configure static NAT for Loopback1 of R1 to 11.11.11.11.

  10. Configure a static NAT and ACL for a mail server with IP address 172.16.4.251 to 140.52.0.251.

  11. Make sure you can ping the CA server and both switch management ...
