William R. Parkhurst, Ph.D., CCIE No. 2969, is on the CCIE team at Cisco Systems. During his tenure on the CCIE team, Bill has been responsible for the Service Provider and Voice CCIE Tracks. Prior to joining the CCIE team, Bill was a consulting systems engineer supporting Sprint. In a former life, Bill was an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at Wichita State University. Bill is the author of the Cisco Press books OSPF Configuration Handbook and BGP-4 Command and Configuration Handbook.
