Section 3: BGP

Q: Do I need to configure AS 100 on R6?

A: I suggest that you follow the lab text instructions. If it says AS 100, you should follow it.

Q: Should I use BGP Confederation or any other method?

A: You are requested to configure as such, because R2 does not peer directly to R6. Confederations or another method will be acceptable.

Q: I have some IGP problems and not all of my routers can see all loopback interfaces, but BGP is configured correctly. Will this be acceptable?

A: No, you must have a TCP connection between your BGP peers to receive full credit.
