A: By default, yes; find a way of allowing it through without bridging.

A: Look for a less complex method of achieving connectivity.

Q: Can I put a secondary address on R6 in the same subnet as R7 and then somehow give connectivity to VLAN4?

A: No.

Q: Can I enable Local Area Mobility (LAM) in my network?

A: Yes.

Q: LAM will produce a host route, is that acceptable at this point in the lab?

A: Yes, the question does not state that there should be no host route at this point; there is an earlier reference to your IGP routes though.
