Designing Your Practice Lab for This Book
Throughout this book, you will use a common lab for all the examples and exercises. This lab is made up of the following components:
Eleven routers, including eight internal routers, two backbone routers, and one router acting as a Frame Relay switch
Two PIX Firewalls
One 3550 switch. All Ethernet VLANs exist on this switch.
ISDN and ATM connectivity
One server running ACS and CA
The lab designed for this book provides all the necessary hardware and services that are required for the Security CCIE. The lab topology is shown in Figure 3-1.
