Installing the Windows operating system is the first step and, therefore, is one of the most vital stages. Obviously, the version of Windows that you select must be appropriate for your hardware and applications. To ensure a successful installation, you should check the Microsoft Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) for hardware compatibility.
