KIDDING AROUND

From crybabies and spoiled brats to bullies and sulky teens, kids offer an endless array of fun personalities to draw. For younger kids, draw big heads, wide eyes, small bodies, and pudgy limbs—and keep everything simple and round. For teens, elongate the bodies and limbs a bit, but keep the features round and youthful. You can also add clothing and accessories that indicate youthfulness, like ribbons and bows, toys, ice cream cones, and more! Kids are more relaxed and uninhibited in their actions and expressions, so let go of your own inhibitions when drawing them.
