Goals also require particular resources for their accomplishment; moreover, the path between setting a goal and meeting a goal is often fraught with obstacles. Consequently, you must be certain the person you are managing has the resources necessary to accomplish the goal you want to assign. Although you can’t make the path to that accomplishment obstacle-free, you can try to anticipate the problems that may be encountered and provide a warning in advance.
