SET SPECIFIC LEARNING OBJECTIVES, AND GET YOUR MANAGER’S SUPPORT

Make a list of every task and responsibility for which you are accountable, and use this list to brainstorm some specific job-related learning objectives. What skills should you be practicing? What knowledge should you be mastering? What wisdom should you be acquiring? Go to your manager with this list and ask what resources might be available to help you undertake some of your learning goals.
