Never has the ability to get accurate color been as accessible as it is with digital photography. Color options begin in the camera when you select a color space that suits your workflow. In addition, Canon offers Picture Styles that determine the default tonal curve, sharpness, color rendering, and saturation of images. You can apply a variety of Picture Styles that replicate traditional film looks or render color in different ways in the camera for JPEG capture and either in the camera or after capture for RAW capture.

In terms of color, the white balance options on the XSi/450D are comprehensive and dependable, whether you prefer using the preset white balance settings, setting the color temperature yourself, or setting a custom white balance.
