Using Live View for Manual Focusing

In earlier chapters, I walked you through the autofocus modes and gave you tips and tricks to help you get the sharpest images possible. But there may come a time when you feel that your AF (autofocus) system is letting you down or that you are not sure if you have truly achieved focus. In those situations, the key is to take advantage of manual focus and switch to Live View mode.

In Live View, you see on the LCD screen—in real time—what your camera sees. And you can zoom in to truly see the details of your image.
