Every August, you can find hundreds of amazing sunflower fields throughout Colorado. This is also the time of the year when summer storms seem to appear nearly every afternoon, providing the potential for beautiful, dramatic skies. These storms generally come with large gusts of wind, which can make it a challenge to get a stable photograph, even when using a tripod. By enabling the Mirror Lockup setting, I was able to minimize camera shake.
