Composition
The same rules of composition that apply to still photography will help you create compelling video compositions. Because you are using Live View to shoot video, the grid display is available to help you line up your subjects based on the rule of thirds.
Setting Up the Grid Display for Live View Shooting
1. Press the Menu button, and go to the second Video menu tab (sixth tab from the left) (A).
2. Use the Quick Control dial to scroll down to the Grid display menu item, and press the Set button.
3. Select 3×3 (B), and press the Set button.
