FIGURE 3.1 For this project, Andy and his team created a thirty-second stop-motion TV spot using still cameras. Andy says, “We shot five scenes—with two cameras covering each scene—using intervalometers to shoot one frame per second. We shot 24,473 raw files over two days, just under 300GB. From there, we needed to find the best sequences and export them out as animation frames. The production timeline was very short on this project; without a solid workflow, we would never have been able to keep track of all the different options and quickly deliver the final images to the editor who put the TV spot together.” ...
