MODIFICATION

Modification is an operation that changes an object after creation. In CAD terms this can mean a simple move of an object from one area to another through to an object that transforms in shape or topology. In animation the modification process can represent the growth or transition of one object to another. The ability to modify an object allows us to create basic forms and then work on them to add increased detail or to sculpt a object.

The main transform modifications are typically Move, Rotate and Scale. They are often grouped as icons in the same field.
