wcsncmp function — Compares wide strings
Synopsis
int wcsncmp(const wchar_t* s1, const wchar_t* s2, size_t n)
The wcsncmp
function
compares at most n
wide
characters of two null-terminated wide strings. If the strings are
equal, the return value is 0
.
Otherwise, the return value is positive if s1
is greater than s2
or negative if s1
is less than s2
. If one string is a prefix of the
other, the longer string is greater than the shorter string.
