Name
CallingConvention
Synopsis
This enumeration specifies the calling convention to use when you
invoke a function. DllImportAttribute
uses this
in its CallingConvention
parameter.
Cdecl
specifies the standard calling convention
used by C++ and C programs. This is required for functions that
take a variable number of arguments, such as
printf()
. FastCall
attempts
to put function arguments into registers.
StdCall
is the convention used for calling Win32
API functions. ThisCall
is the calling
convention used by C++ member functions taking fixed arguments. Use
the Winapi
calling convention for
function calls that use PASCAL
or
__far __pascal
.
