In order to complete a build process successfully, it is important to run test projects in a solution to verify that the code works correctly. Running xUnit.net tests in a .NET Core project is relatively easy, by using the dotnet test command through the DotNetCoreTest alias. To have access to some other features of the dotnet-xunit tool, it is preferred to run the test using DotNetCoreTool.
