Let's set up this project:

1. Using Visual Studio 2017, we will create an ASP.NET Core Web Application. You can call the application anything you like, but I called mine Chapter5:

2. We'll go with an empty project template. Be sure to select ASP.NET Core 2.0 from the dropdown:
