Business Trip Reports
Most business trip reports are written by individuals or groups to pass along information to their supervisor. In contrast to travel diaries written as a personal record or letters that recount trips to friends or family, business travel reports are frequently done to record economic and social conditions or to evaluate business opportunities in a remote location. Typically, the situation is that a person has temporarily left his or her usual place of work to do something somewhere else. Some examples include:
►Taking a fact-finding trip to evaluate a vendor, client, or competitor, both in terms of both where and how it operates.
►Installing, modifying, or repairing off-site equipment or instruments.
