Progress Reports
Many business projects span long periods of time, from a few weeks to a number of years. Progress reports tell company managers what is happening with the project at any given time. Progress reports tend to be informal, consisting of only a few pages. However, they contain important information such as lists of materials, analysis of costs incurred, diagrams, and schedules projecting the project’s completion. Progress reports also describe any problems or complications that have arisen while the project is ongoing. For short-term projects, only a single progress report may be needed.
