Summary

We have covered a great deal in this chapter, and we've come a long way. Let's just recap what we have been doing:

  • We installed Java, the JBoss application server, the jBPM engine, and the jBPM Designer.

  • We looked at the fundamental concepts that underpin JBoss jBPM.

  • We put these concepts into practice by building our first process definition for our proof-of-concept system.

In the next chapter, we will take this to the next stage by taking a look at how the process definition we have built will look in the web console user interface.
