Business Process Management Suites

Abstract

This chapter focuses on business process management suites (BPMS) that combine a variety of more specific tools into a package that is capable of both redesigning a business process and also of monitoring the execution of runtime processes. Typical features of BPMS products are discussed. A brief history of the development of the market for BPMS products is described and leading vendors are identified.
