Networking is something you need to work at and work at constantly. Just pitching up when you have something to sell just won’t work.

Being part of the networking scene, constantly assembling and maintaining your crowd, is one of the things that can set you apart from the people who ‘dip in and out’ of networking depending on when they need the business.
