Business intelligence has never been more important. Fortunately, it has never been so easy to implement and use business intelligence (BI) systems. These are sweeping statements. Allow me to explain.

I recently read about a start-up software vendor that received tens of millions of dollars in venture capital. It was a flashback for me. Since 1996, I have worked at Microsoft.
