ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A.C. Fernando is Senior Professor in Economics and Corporate Governance at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai and the Director of the Loyola Centre for Business Ethics and Corporate Governance, a centre of excellence established by LIBA. He is also the Editor of Management Matters, a biannual business journal of the institution.
After obtaining an M.A. in Economics from the University of Madras, Professor Fernando became Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Sophia College, Mumbai where he taught for 15 years. As Visiting Professor at the University of Bombay, he taught public finance for a couple of years.
