CONSUMER PROTECTION, WHY AND HOW

The consumer has been at the receiving end in most countries of the world, especially in developing nations like India. On account of such exploitation, a strong public opinion has been built over the past five decades demanding protection to consumers. Consumer protection is possible only if adequate and appropriate cooperation is forthcoming from the three concerned parties, namely, consumers, business and the government.
