Writing articles for various business continuity journals and websites gave me the courage to develop my writing skills so when asked if I had ever thought of writing a book the idea was slightly less daunting than it might otherwise have been. Nevertheless, I would not have been able to complete this book without the input and support of Simon, Emma and David, all of whom have used their practical knowledge of business continuity management systems to provide steerage when I might otherwise have run off course.
