Corporate aviation enjoys an enviable safety record, maintaining an accident rate equivalent to the major scheduled airlines. In fact, corporate aviation’s record compares favorably with that of the airlines in a number of recent years according to the data released at the end of 2011 (see Table 8.1). How does this happen?
