101. Flexibility, Not Freedom
I always chuckle a little when I hear people say something along the lines of, “It must be nice owning a business. I would love the freedom that comes with that.” I always think to myself, “Freedom! This is the furthest thing from freedom. I’m a slave!” If you are considering venturing out on your own to freelance or start a business, be prepared to enjoy “flexibility”...but definitely not “freedom.” This chapter is dedicated to those of you considering taking the leap and going out on your own, as an effort to prepare you for the flexible yet freedom-less life you will be plunging into.
