73. Never Fire a Client?

I’ll start this chapter by saying that you absolutely have a right to fire your client. But the lesson taught to me by one of my first bosses merits some consideration.

While living in Arizona, I worked at a direct marketing agency. The company struggled financially and the leadership was questionable at times. But I did learn a few lessons while enduring my time there. In a discussion about how to work with a difficult client, the president of the company offered up this advice.
