53. Vicious Vernacular

Just yesterday our creative director came into my office to discuss a challenge he was having with a major entertainment industry client. We are wrapping up a ten-month long, $400,000 website design and programming project. Over the course of the project we have bent over backwards in an effort to satisfy what has largely become an unsatisfiable client. We are on the final punch list and our creative director had a call with the client to review the status. During the call things got a little heated and the client began to refer to the final punch items in an extreme way. Her vicious vernacular (intentional or not) was doing a good job of shutting down our creative director.
