37. Process-a-Palooza

The transition from freelancer to agency owner was filled with adjustments. It seemed like we were scaling a mountain and had to continually change our tactics to keep progressing. When I first started hiring employees at my agency, we changed the production process every couple of weeks (much to the lament of my team). We were growing so fast that it seemed with every new employee we needed to tweak the process to allow things to keep working and to find the system that offered the most benefit to the particular team and project; what worked for a team of three with ten projects didn’t necessarily work for a team of five with twenty projects.
