26. This Is Not Verbatimville
Verbatimville is a land of thoughtless zombie drones who wander around like robots doing exactly what they are told. Far too many graphic design professionals live their lives wandering in Verbatimville. When their client asks for a change, they do it exactly as they are told without utilizing their own knowledge of design principles or tapping into their design instincts. You will never progress in your design abilities if you live your life stuck in Verbatimville. Your projects will never achieve their full potential if you simply follow the mandates of your boss or client; you must instead move out of Verbatimville and into the land of Creative Genius.
