13. Lead or Be Led
I was recently attending a meeting where the speaker was talking about the Boy Scout program. I was struck by something he said while relating a story about a new scoutmaster he was going to be working with. The speaker gave the scoutmaster a set of Scout manuals to which the scoutmaster responded, “Now which of these do I really have to read?” The speaker then promptly replied, “Well, that depends on whether you want to LEAD or be LED.”
