An Example Component

Now a big leap in direction of complexity. We want to set up a very simple used car list that can be maintained from the administration area.

For this you will need:

  • A new front-end component
  • A back-end component
  • A special table in the database
  • (Optional) an additional module to display the items on the website
  • (Optional) a search plug-in, so that you can search your new content

So that you get an idea of what I am talking about and what the list should look like on the website, here is the finished example. Simply install the com_auto.zip component and follow it yourself.
