This book makes some assumptions about your knowledge. It expects that you already have at least a basic knowledge of how SharePoint Designer works and that you have read Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 Step by Step by Penelope Coventry (Microsoft Press, 2008). This book does not spend time describing parts of the user interface that are not relevant to the immediate task at hand, so I recommend that if you have not read that book, you do so first.
