Adding Style to SharePoint Navigation Controls

Now that you understand how to add pages or Web sites to the navigation control in SharePoint, you need to spend some time customizing the look and feel of the control. In much the same way that you modified styles in earlier chapters, as well as the asp:menu control in this chapter, you will make a modification to the core.css file that will affect the rendering of all of the menu controls on your pages.

In this exercise, you will modify one of the classes referenced by the SharePoint:AspMenu control, so that the control renders with different font and background colors than the default.
