  1. Visit several Web sites that use drop-down menus. Examine the scripting used by each and compare.

  2. Create a simple JavaScript object—prototype and functions—that represents a line item in a shopping cart.

  3. Create an HTML Web page that uses the JavaScript line item object and allows the user to dynamically change the quantities of the items. You should include initialization code in the page to provide a few line items to work with.
