Authoring a book has always been a dream of mine, and like most realized dreams, they are never done alone. This book is more than an essay of my experiences with object-oriented web application development; rather, it is the joined effort of a number of individuals and the sacrifices of many close to me.

As a software engineer I never needed to understand the publishing industry. Publishing a book is certainly more than just writing words, as I found out. The team at Addison Wesley Longman—J.
