Analysis

Whether you are building Web applications, or distributed object systems, the activities of analysis are pretty much the same. Since analysis focuses on the functional requirements of the system, the fact that some or all of the system will be implemented with Web technologies is beside the point. Unless the functional requirements state the use of a specific technology, all references to architectural elements should be avoided.
