Throughout this chapter, we identified a number of considerations when we test servers and their corresponding services:
- Review the information on Oracle, and build an Oracle server both on a Windows platform and a Linux platform and experiment with the different testing options. Remember to save the information for your future use.
- For this second challenge, build a Sharepoint Server, and once you have built it, experiment with the different methods for attacking a Sharepoint installation. We continue to see more and more enterprises using Sharepoint; therefore, it is essential we practice against this type of installation, and document everything that we discover works, so we can use them in our engagements.
