Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to install and prepare Linux for the OpenSIPS installation. We downloaded and compiled OpenSIPS with RADIUS and MySQL modules. After the installation, we included the OpenSIPS init file to start OpenSIPS at boot time.

Now that OpenSIPS has been installed and is running, we will cover the basics of SIP routing and the language used to build the routing scripts in the next chapter.
