Summary
We started this chapter by considering the benefits of updating an existing application to leverage the Tablet PC Platform’s features. We found that in doing so, we had many technical challenges to overcome. We discussed some of these challenges as well as a few potential solutions. We then turned our attention to the issue of performance, which we analyzed from the perspectives of speed and size.
The topic of how to update an existing Tablet PC application to be pen-aware or ink-aware is a potentially complex one. In this chapter we introduced you to some of the basic issues that you can take into account when deciding how to implement the first Tablet PC version of your application.
