Issues and Challenges

As you've learned throughout this book, the Compact Framework coupled with SDP provides a rich API and a set of features that eases the creation of mobile solutions; however, this doesn't mean that every API and tool that you and your team may need in order to develop your particular solution have been included. In addition, you'll want to consider best practices in order to develop high-performance applications.

In this final chapter we'll look at these sets of issues and concerns by first discussing techniques and tools for augmenting the Compact Framework. Then, we'll explore several coding techniques and their impact on performance.
