In this chapter we looked at primitive synchronization techniques that can be employed in Compact Framework solutions. These solutions necessarily revolve around ActiveSync, although, as you've learned, there are several options and issues to consider.

Because the synchronization techniques discussed in this chapter are necessarily limited, the next chapter focuses on the more advanced synchronization capabilities of SQL Server 2000 Windows CE Edition. And as you'll no doubt discover, in some cases the concepts from this chapter can also be combined with those in the next.
