An EV3 infrared sensor (port 4) is located in the Timmyton's nose, giving it a clear line of sight to any obstacle or an infrared remote. We have already used the IR sensor extensively, so this will all be a review. The Timmyton's program makes use of all three of the IR sensor's functions: proximity sensor, receiver, and beacon tracker:
