Some Guidelines

1.  Walk around. Get out of your office and walk around the area where your stakeholders are located. Try to engage them in informal conversations about what they need from you and, as appropriate, what you need from them. You can also use these chats to bring them up to date on your latest project activities, especially accomplishments. Yes, this information will be in the meeting minutes but you also want to provide opportunities for two-way communication with stakeholders.
